ERROR 1203 (42000): User root already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

同事说MySQL测试服务器超出了最大连接数，要求调整max_connections。

mysql> show variables like ‘%connect%’;
+—————————————+—————————-+
| Variable_name | Value |
+—————————————+—————————-+
| character_set_connection | latin1 |
| collation_connection | latin1_swedish_ci |
| connect_timeout | 10 |
| init_connect | |
| max_connect_errors | 10 |
| max_connections | 1000 |
| max_user_connections | 100 |
+—————————————+—————————-+
7 rows in set (0.00 sec)

从列表中看到MySql中的最大连接数max_connections设置为1000。

经过查询show processlist看目前服务器的连接数量远没有达到1000.

再来看错误‘ User root already has more than ‘max_user_connections’ active connections’
是说超出了max_user_connections的限制。

于是修改了max_user_connections
mysql> set global max_user_connections=200;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)

max_connections 是指MySQL服务器的最大连接数。即所有用户最大连接数的和。
max_user_connections 是指MySQL中单个用户的最大连接数。
