Word Preparation

neighborhood: 邻里，街坊，社区

the area of a town that surrounds someone’s home, or the people who live in this area

This is a safe neighborhood for children.

fully furnished: 家具齐全的

lease: 租约，租赁

be satisfied with: 对…满意

pleased because you have got what you wanted, or because something has happened in the way that you wanted

move in：搬入

to begin living in a new home

She has just moved in with some friends.

Grammar

‘the + 比较级 + 句子, the + 比较级 + 句子’ 结构

表示“越…，越…”。

  • The higher the ground is, the thinner the air becomes.
  • The harder you work, the greater progress you will make.
  • The less he worried, the better he worked.
