对left join on and、left join on where的理解

一、

**在使用left jion时，on和where条件的区别如下：**

**1、 on条件是在生成临时表时使用的条件，它不管on中的条件是否为真，都会返回左边表中的记录。**

**2、where条件是在临时表生成好后，再对临时表进行过滤的条件。这时已经没有left join的含义（必须返回左边表的记录）了，条件不为真的就全部过滤掉。**

二、left join 底层原理理解

介绍两个概念，驱动表(也叫外表)和被驱动表(也叫非驱动表，还可以叫匹配表，亦可叫内表)，简单来说，驱动表就是主表，left join 中的左表就是驱动表，right join 中的右表是驱动表。一个是驱动表，那另一个就只能是非驱动表了，在 join 的过程中，其实就是从驱动表里面**依次**(注意理解这里面的依次)取出每一个值，然后去非驱动表里面进行匹配。
